Welcome to London Civic Watch

"Ever wonder if City Council is as contentious and chaotic as it is sometimes portrayed? Here you can get a progressive perspective on some of the issues from someone who spent four years in the trenches. Totally unbiased, though! Feel free to comment but keep it respectful, just like they do at council."

Local blogger succumbs to federal election campaign

Dear Reader,

I feel an apology is in order.

For the past two and a half weeks I have been volunteering for a local candidate in the federal election. I had hoped I could do that and maintain this blog as well but it seems that is nigh well impossible. I am trying to keep up on what is happening locally since this city continues to be my passion, but I do not have the time to provide a thoughtful, well-researched analysis of the machinations at city hall.

I'll be back at it in early May, right after a good night's sleep following the election.

In the meantime, be sure to learn about the parties and candidates in your riding.

And on May 2nd, get to your appointed polling station and VOTE!

Sincerely,

Gina Barber
